Other Projects

The following projects are in development as part of an ongoing cycle of work within Tilted Hilton Productions. Each explores variations of identity, inheritance, and emotional systems through different theatrical structures. These pieces are not yet fully produced works, but active areas of writing, scene development, and dramaturgical exploration.

Coaching the Boys

A first draft theatrical work examining masculinity and identity formation within Canadian hockey culture.

Set within a domestic living room framed by broadcast media, the piece explores how roles such as father, coach, player, and son are constructed through repetition, visibility, and expectation rather than fixed. Identity emerges as something assigned and reinforced through systems of performance, correction, and inherited behavior.

Status: First draft complete. Seeking dramaturgical collaboration and development support.

The F.O.R.G.E.

A developing solo performance about a former hockey coach who becomes an online masculinity figure and retreat leader.

As the system expands, language around discipline, healing, and self-improvement begins to destabilize under pressure, revealing internal fragmentation rather than clarity. The work unfolds through competing internal voices that represent survival strategies within a single psyche rather than external characters.

Status: Scene and script development in progress.
