WHAT WE CARRY
A collection of four interconnected reflections on grief, delight, memory, and becoming, exploring how loss changes us without defining us, how memory reshapes the past, and how moments of ordinary joy can coexist with what we have lost. Together, the pieces consider what we carry forward from the people, experiences, and versions of ourselves that have shaped us, and how we continue becoming who we are.
CONVERSATIONS
It started with a late-night text from a friend, asking if I would accept this poem in exchange for a bag of lettuce.
The poem arrived.
So did the conversation.
What follows are poems that began as exchanges: offered, received, and answered in conversation with another voice, another way of seeing, another piece of the world.
